Never Give Up.
This is a photo of one of my first ever workshops. It was in my home town, I hired a hall, no one came. Maybe I should wear pants next time hey 😉
This workshop was a defining moment in my success. I had a choice to give up I chose not to 🙂.
So here are some words of wisdom for the dreamers out there.
Keep that dream alive and remember the famous words from Chumbawamba.
I get knocked down but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down.
When you feel defeated its ok to rest, regather, heal your soul but then it's time to get back out there and show the world who you really are.
For many of us the last few years were a massive reevaluation of our lives including our business's as many took a hit.
I used it as a time to really sit with who I truly am and what i truly want out of life.
Where was I hiding, and where was I sabotaging?
One of my patterns was to take on too much at once or take on things and not really understand how much focus I needed to complete that task which led me to never put 100% into anything.
It's the curse of the multi-passionate person haha, we need to be more grounded than others as we have so much we want to learn and do and can get distracted easily.
I made the choice to let my doTERRA Business just sit on autopilot until I had finished my studies.
Once my studies were finished I hired a business strategists so I could be held accountable in taking my brand to the next level.
My overall brand message is Holistic health and living so I had to first own all the parts of myself then my business that weren't in alignment with this.
- Who do I love working With people that light me up?
- What are more parts of my business that I can outsource so I can focus more on what I love?
- Are there any parts of my business that need to be dissolved?
- How can everything tie back to my brand message so it's not so scattered?
The retraction or pause in growth in your business is actually such a gift as it gets you to sit with how much you really want it.
Many bow out at this point which is so sad to see as this is really just a deeper invitation into you.
Remember your business is directly tied to the evolution of your soul.
So I invite you all to come back into what got you started on following your dreams in the first place.
Of course it wasn't the money but business does need to be profitable, it also needs to be a shit load of fun.
If it doesn't have these two factors no one will last.
I see it time and time again that people don't have the grounded strategies around health and self confidence which therefore means their business and dreams are eventually doomed.
(Hint this is my jam)
We also seem to forget that business goes in cycles some more introverted some more extroverted.
My doTERRA business is now in a growth cycle again with 4 people participating in Diamond Club one of them being in the UK, I have around 10 people heading to the Leadership Convention and with the new product launches of the collagen and products focused on Metabolic Health its exciting times as it actually aligns even deeper than it used to with my mission.
Note if you live in or have heritage and family living in South America, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Philippines or China lets talk business as there is huge opportunities in these markets.
My mentorship Program is now where I get to truly share my genius with those that are all in. Those that understand and are willing to invest in what 10 plus years of CHEK Institute Training can do for them and its super exciting as this is pure creation mode where my focus is on transforming these peoples lives in the areas of Health, Confidence, Relationships, Lifestyle (which includes business) and breaking generational sabotage patterns.
Plus long term I will train people up on the Lighthouse Method so they can become Practitioners in my method and that evolution feels exciting to my soul.
And then I have the goats which is not just having my money sitting in things that eat my clothes rather than sitting in my bank
this ties into my overall brand message as goats milk is a staple for raising a health and self sufficient family which is my overarching dream and vision
we will have around 20 babies in 6 months ready for their new homes and the vision of this arm of my business is to be the the premium Holistically Raised Nigerian Dwarf Goats in Australia.
So again I invite you not to give up on your dreams invest in you, you are worth it your business can be as weird and wonderful as you are.
You are the creator of your story and you get to write the next chapter.
