10 Years ago I finished my first Ayahuasca ceremonies.
Here's the back story:
I was living in Las Vegas working for the club crawls, but at the same time had upped my study with the CHEK Institute, I had heard a few checkies (CHEK Practitioners) talking about plant medicine ceremonies and felt the call to do it myself, so I was contemplating what I needed to sell back at home so I could afford the flights to South America.
At the time I was big into my couch surfing, in Gold Coast I offered my home up to visitors and when I went travelling I always liked to meet the locals to get a more genuine experience.
Whilst on couch surfing an AYA ceremony popped up, some would say divine timing as it wasn't up for long as Aya ceremonies are illegal in the states, so couch surfing removed it.
It was long enough for my mate Ray that I had met and a couch surfer Suzi to book in.
I was like it's probably just going to be some deros doing it in a garage or something but as long as I go with the right intention I'll be fine.
We jumped on our scooters, with sleeping bags and drove out there, turns out it was actually in the hills of Vegas in a beautiful has that a lovely lesbian couple who you could see where world travellers by the amount of different styles of art and artifacts in their house.
The couple let the traveling shaman use their house, they didn't even participate just graciously offered their home up.
We sat in the big back yard around a fire
I will never forget the ceremonies,
In one their was a little boy figure in a tree who just looked like he was sliding into different spots on the branch, plus touching a blade of grass was like having sex with the entire world.
I also remember laughing at things I shouldn't like war, murder and everything dark in the world as it was profound that we had the ability to create whatever reality we want but we chose that.
The next morning I told the shaman how it's interesting I'd been wanting to experience it and the event popped up, he said mother Aya will always find you when you are ready.
Since then I have probably sat in another 12 ceremonies and I feel on my path one day I also may be someone that holds space for others.
However I have noticed people that treat this process with massive disrespect.
People claiming to be shamans who really aren't, who allow people to participate who aren't really ready.
The ceremony itself whilst yes cleansing can open up all of our shadows so we can act them out in real life so we can clear the patterns forever.
If you are thinking about doing this I'd highly recommend you clean up your diet and eat good quality fats and supplements to get your brain ready for the upgrades.
The photos of the Renaissance fair is what we went to after the ceremonies, you would think we would have been fascinated by all the knights and characters around, however we were Bedazzled by the fabrics how the much the depth of the colours popped out especially the purples plus the texture of the felt and other fabrics were, our senses were so heightened it was insane.
Ever since this experience I have always looked at the world differently, going to the beat of my own drum, generally the direct opposite of what society dictates and expects.
It's let me to a glorious life as I feel completely intune with a the subtle layers of our beautiful planet, it's absolutely magic when you just sit and be present with it.
Anyways thats my experience hope it helps someone
