who you really are

For all my Jim Morrison fans out there and those who are doing “the work”.

There’s a lot happening in the world no doubt but there always has and always will be.

When was the last time you ignored it all and came back to who you really are?

Like how often are you doing what your heart desires?

Do you even know what you truly love?

For most of us through no fault of our own or anyone else we are programmed to go against our individuality generally to what is considered a safe path at the time.
Whilst this path is rooted in logic it then creates a pattern of always behaving in this way.

This then leads to stopping from ever trying anything new because what if I fail, I’m not good at that, people like me don’t do that.

You then see the consequences the mid life crisis, the affairs and marriage break downs, gambling and addictions, abuse and manipulation.

The logic part makes sense if we were just here to survive but if we were spiritual beings here to have a Human experience then that all goes out the window.

We would be here to experience all the magic and wonder of the world, we would push ourselves to the limit to see what we are capable of and we would be here to feel it all. The good, bad, ugly and magnificent.

The saying only the good die young in my opinion means those that made a significant impact in our lives, maybe on a soul level they knew they would only be here for a short time so they showed all of themself to the world.

Maybe it’s time we stop trying to change the world and change our world therefore shifting the world around us.
